Search Engine Optimization
Website optimization, content improvement, page structure, metadata, search-focused publishing and ongoing SEO management.
My background in SEO, digital marketing, content management and website operations, from Gorkha to Kathmandu.
I am Jebish Pokharel, an SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist with professional experience beginning in May 2023. My work has developed around search engine optimization, website content management, digital publishing and the day-to-day work required to keep websites useful, organized and visible in search.
I am originally from Siranchowk Rural Municipality, Ward 5, Gorkha, and I currently live in Pepsicola Town Planning, Kathmandu. Gorkha is an important part of my background, while Kathmandu is where much of my professional work and education are currently centered.
Currently based in Pepsicola Town Planning, Kathmandu.

Digital content management, website publishing and coordinated online marketing work across tourism and automotive-focused platforms.
My experience has taught me to look at SEO and content as connected work. A page may need better metadata, but it may also need clearer headings, more accurate information, stronger internal structure or a better publishing process. I prefer working directly with pages and content so that recommendations can be implemented, reviewed and improved instead of remaining only in reports.
In my work, I pay attention to titles, descriptions, headings, search intent, content organization and the way information is published. At Alpine Club of Himalaya, SEO was part of a wider role that also included website content, social media, digital materials and OTA information. At Auto X Nepal, I manage SEO and content, including the publication of original content. At GuideMeet.com, my current role is focused on SEO and content management.
I am currently studying for a Bachelor in Information Technology at Texas College of Management, affiliated with Lincoln University. Studying IT while working with websites helps me understand the technical side of digital work more clearly. I do not present myself as a developer; my main professional direction remains SEO and digital marketing. However, learning more about website technology helps me communicate better, diagnose issues more carefully and understand how SEO decisions fit into the wider structure of a website.
I value clear information, useful content and work that can be maintained over time. I avoid claiming results that I cannot support, and I prefer to describe the responsibilities I have actually handled. My goal is to continue building depth in SEO and digital marketing while improving my technical understanding of websites. This portfolio is organized around that approach, with separate pages for my work, education, training and the tools I create.
